We made it back from Florida. It was good break from the day-to-day life. The house we stayed in was beautiful. The back porch was our deck to the inlet. We went kayaking, fishing, & swam with some pretty, wild creatures. I shared some pictures on the Zelina Trilogy via Facebook & Instagram, as well as my personal accounts via Facebook, Instagram, & Twitter. As I upload them from our cameras, I will try to share more! We loved coming home to our eldest & our middle child as well as our clean house but nothing was more funny than being yelled at by these three THE MINUTE we stepped into the door.
So whenever I go on my vacation, I always pack extra underwear, socks, some flip flops, deodrant, etc. But I try to not forget my mini-notebook (it's usually with my passport) & my Writing Prompts book. I do this just in case I get an idea for that would make a good story. Also if I am feeling blocked, even on vacation, I just crack open that book & fill out a prompt. It helps me not to get writer's block, even on a vacation.
Example writing prompt: "If you go to Craigslist, there is a āMissed Connectionsā section where you can find some interesting story lines to inspire your writing." <-<-<- You all should try it! It really does help your mind stretch its legs or wake up! My eldest tries to fill out her own prompt book at least once a day whereas I try to do mine once or twice a week, depending on my writing schedule. I highly reccomend it.
