Celebration of Life 🎉

My wise sister, Kristina, never wanted a funeral. She wanted a celebration of life. A funeral is different from a celebration of life. "A celebration of life is a casual get-together with emphasis more on the positive aspects of the person’s life. Those who attend may laugh as they talk about the experiences they had with the deceased. Think of it as an upbeat memorial service." (read more here: https://www.thespruce.com/what-is-a-celebration-of-life-4583830) Kristina wanted a celebration of life & the theme she picked, was of course the 80's. She loved the fashion, music, MTV, & everything about that decade. Her Celebration of Life memorial will be held at Midlothian Civic Center on March 15, from 5 pm to 10 pm.

My sister cared for many things in her life but LOVED animals. Even when she could not save them all, she would share their pictures & information on all social media accounts to raise awareness in the hopes they may be adopted. She loved them so much that instead of flowers for her celebration of life, she requested that a donation be made in her name to an animal charity, of your choice. You can read more about her in her obituary (at the bottom).

My sister left us with broken hearts but she is no longer in pain. No doubt she is causing havoc in heaven but they wouldn't want it any other way. She will be missed more than words can say. If you have any kind words for Kristina, please don't hesitate to share them. We want to celebrate her life.
