Hello all! I know it's been a while, I've just gotten back from the writing retreat with Richard Paul Evans at Timepiece Ranch in Utah (see below for some images). I hope you all were enjoying my posts about the Alpacas and the scenery. It was such fun.
While there, I feel I truly honed my storytelling skills with a community of fellow authors. Each workshop and critique session fueled my passion and deepened my understanding of the writer's craft, leaving me inspired to embark on new literary adventures. What an honor, I cannot wait to go back again next year!
I know when I returned home, it was short notice but I had a new festival added! It was the Coastal Car Care Car Wash Fundraiser. I was there with Rai's Plushies. I was even featured in an article! Despite the weather being super hot and muggy, I still had a lot of fun meeting all the fellow vendors and meeting all of you! I can't wait to do it again :)
While I'm not attending Galaxy Con, I was excited to discover another event to participate inthis July with Rai's Plushies! The event is scheduled to take place on July 27th from 10 AM to 4 PM in the beautiful location of Pine Knoll Shores here in North Carolina. I am looking forward to being among fellow vendors, including Rai's Plushies, where I will have the opportunity to interact with attendees, sign books, and showcase and sell my books.
This event presents a wonderful chance to connect with fans and fellow enthusiasts, as well as to share my passion for writing and storytelling. The atmosphere of Pine Knoll Shores is sure to add a special touch to the event, with its serene surroundings and pleasant ambiance.
After all the preparations and excitement surrounding the upcoming event, I made sure to take some time for myself this Sunday to rest and recharge. It's important to find moments of relaxation amidst busy schedules, allowing for a refreshed mind and renewed energy for the days ahead. I spent the day unwinding, walking along the beach, eating junk food, watching mindless television, and overall just appreciating the simple joys of a peaceful Sunday. I hope and wish you all are having an enjoyable sunday as well.
While I won't be doing any events for the 4th of July, I hope you all have an excellent long holiday weekend and fire off one big firework for me! If you can't attend the upcoming event then don't worry - I'll plan more events this year!
